Founder

Meet Gerben Van Duyl

Gerben founded Procella Audio over 20 years ago while working as a director at DTS in London. Surrounded by the world's best cinema audio technology, he saw a gap: the speakers used in professional cinemas and mastering studios were engineered to a standard that didn't exist for home use. So he built them.

What started in London grew into a global brand. Procella Audio loudspeakers are now used in professional cinemas, post-production studios, and luxury homes across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Gerben has appeared in more than 30 YouTube features and industry publications, making him one of the most recognised voices in premium home cinema audio.

In 2006, Gerben brought Procella Audio to Australia through MAREOR, based on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Today, he works directly with homeowners and a growing network of specialist AV dealers to deliver cinema-grade audio experiences across Australia and New Zealand.
